Thank you!!! The first transmission shop I went to in Greensboro told me I would have to pay $1400 to rebuild my transmission. Because I am (sadly) familiar with getting car work done, I took it to Cottmans for that classic second opinion. Not only did they let me know that they would never be able to *properly* rebuild a Saturn transmission for only $1400, but they also did a free inspection and found out that the only problem was a leak of fluid. For a fraction of my original fear, Jody and team replaced the transmission pan, fluid and filter, and got me and my husband on the road for our Thanksgiving vacation.
