We found out about Octagon Cleaning and Restoration from a contractor friend, and we were really happy to get them. We were hit by a storm, resulting in a tree falling on our home, which came through a few spots on the roof, causing parts of the ceiling to collapse. They did their best to get here as fast as they could, as water was pouring in from the rain. Brindy was the girl we dealt with, and she was just great, with everything that happened. She even helped with moving things around the house, and came out on 4 different occasions to make sure everything was going well. She and Octagon eased a lot of the frustrations we had, dealing with the damage, along with insurance, and they answered all the questions we had, that they could answer. They even dealt with the insurance, since this was our first time filing a claim with our Homeowner's Insurance. They did mitigation for water damage, and were very thorough inspecting our home, including the attic, crawl spaces, and insulation, to make sure there was no hidden water damage. They were very respectful of our home when they helped remove the damages, and helped dry the home with dehumidifiers to help prevent mold and mildew. We work from home, and they were very respectful with hanging up plastic, and ensuring that their equipment didn't overload our circuit breakers. Brindy and the team couldn't have been more helpful and understanding of what we were going through, with our situation and with insurance. They're still helping us get a POD to help store our things, even though it isn't their job.
