My husband and I found yellow jackets in our backyard by our sliding door (split level house) and also found them dead throughout our first floor by windows over the course of about 5 days. We were beyond puzzled and called Ben to get his insight. What we thought was an outside nest turned out to be in the wall of the kitchen that lined up to the outside. Ben and Darnell checked out the entire house outside and inside (including crawling into the attic!) to see where the second entry point was. Darnell sprayed into the entrypoint outside and caulked the area. That took care of the first entry point. Unfortunately the yellow jacket issue persisted for another week and Ben and Darnell were back again. We poinpointed a small hole in our kitchen wall as the second entry point where the yellow jackets still thriving in the wall were coming out. Ben and Darnell gave us several next step options that wouldn’t include knocking out a wall to physically remove the nest. Darnell sprayed into the kitchen wall and caulked every crack we found in the kitchen where it could have come out of. Within 48 hours, we were yellow jacket free. We cannot thank Ben, Darnell, and Leah enough for how responsive and accommodating they were. Ben took our calls after hours and Leah scheduled us at our earliest convenience to tackle the problem. Darnell was punctual and took the time to explain our options and explained what the anticipated outcomes of each approach could be. We are so grateful to have an exterminator we trust and knows our home. We also used Ben to conduct the termite inspection when we bought our home and knew exactly who to call when this happened.
