I have used Moving by Design two times now to move. They are really great about coming out and giving you a good estimate on the costs. They are dependable, and their crews are very friendly. But I think maybe their strong points are the actual moving itself. Because I had them come out to pack me up for a later move, and this is why I give them three stars instead of five stars. They just seemed a little careless to me. They marked some of the boxes, "Top Load" which I assume means that it is the kind of lighter and more fragile stuff which they mean to pack in the top of the van for safety. BUT, when they stacked the boxes in my garage, they put many of the "Top Load" boxes on the bottom of the stack. With the summer heat and all, those "Top Load" boxes often collapsed, which sent the whole stack tumbling and leaning, etc. I do not know if anything has been damaged or not because the boxes are still packed. I think they should have been more careful about how they stacked the boxes. So in conclusion, Moving by Design is great at moving, and less so when it comes to packing and stacking. Three stars.
