I worked with Moving By Design recently and the movers themselves were fine. They were polite and did their job appropriately, but I felt that I was grossly overcharged for the service. I went in expecting to pay a certain amount, and really they were only in the house for about 45 minutes. I was a flood victim and just wanted to get all my furniture moved back into place, so it wasn't a big job. What happened was that they charged me for the driving time, which they told me they would do, but the rate was a lot more than I was expecting and that really sent the cost up. This was my first time using their service but I would not call them again. If it hadn't been for the cost, though, it would have been fine. The people were nice.
