My wife wedged a basketball between my front fender and the wheel, then attempted a burnout, unfortunately the car stopped moving when the ball got about 3/4 of the way to the top of the fender. Of course the fender bowed out like an over inflated ballon, except the fender is made out of metal. No other dent repair would even think of repairing the fender, kept hearing, way too much damage, can't repair metal that has been stretched that far, too much surface area, dentless repair process is not intended to fix extensive damage, you going to have to replace fender. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I love my Volvo V70R, 6 speed and the thought of changing the fender sort of messed up the idea of having all original equipment, plus car exterior was near perfect. My wife felt really bad, so she kept searching for someone that would even attempt to fix the damage, let alone say he could fix it, Alex was that man ! He was confident that he could fix, it would just take some time. Didn't really understand what that meant, but after watching him, I understood. He treated the car the way a craftsman does, he carefully assessed the problem and came up with process to repair the car. He slowly heated up the fender numerous times and methodically pounded the fender back into shape, he had to repeat the process so many times, I lost track. He took the time to explain the process to me very patiently, think he knew what the car meant to me and peace maintained in the household, hah. He had to custom make several of the tools needed and even went to the store to buy a rivet gun so he could fix/re-use my fender liner, it looked crumpled and completely useless. Don't think you can tell the difference between the two fenders now, and of course all my paint matches ! Not sure how to give a higher recommendation than 5 stars, but would if I could. He tackled a job that scared everyone else, treated my car with care, extremely professional and had that old school craftsmanship that has been largely lost in modern, just replace it world.
