we bought 2 yellow labs in August a female and male. Both dogs looked healthy. On there puppy vet visit the male did not pass. We thought he had UTI cause he was constantly peeing. Our vet checked his urine -- it's showed blood and low specific gravity, so we did blood work which showed he was anemic. Our vet told there was something wrong with the pup. Our vet stated after second round of blood work he wasn't taking any more of our money and there was something serious wrong with this pup. We decided to put him on antibiotics and test his stool ( hoping he had hookworm which would cause anemia) but it tested positive for Girdia. We did not treat it cause of everything else going on. I notified the kennel which they did say we could return pup for full refund. We asked to keep him for another week to have his labs and urine checked again the following week. Unfortunately a week later his labs and urine still were abnormal. We returned pup after having him for 3 weeks. The kennel (Pam) said they would DO EVERYTHING to figure out what's wrong with him. We stated we would take him back if they could get him better. A week later Pam called stating he was doing well, they didn't see any blood in urine , his poop was good ( which he was never treated for Girdia and we are still having issues with female poop and she was treated for Girdia-- so I don't know how is poop was fine) and they put him on a multivitamin. She stated her vet didn't see anything wrong with the dog and was unsure what our vet was talking about! I asked what his latest blood work and urinalysis showed? Her response was WE DON'T DO BLOOD WORK OR CHECK URINE. So how do you know he is fine it nothing was done!! Her response we put him on multivitamin and his gums are pink. Well his gums were pink with us too!! We did not take the dog back. Two days later he was on there website forsale and was sold within the week. They KNOWINGLY SOLD A SICK PUP!!! They did nothing to determine what was wrong with him!! They only care about making money and not the animals!!! Shame on the vet working for this kennel ! He or she should be ashamed of themselves!!! The more I read about Laughlin being a pup mill the more I believe!!!
