Installers were on time and they cleaned up fairly well afterwards, but one slab on our island is slightly uneven (slopes front to back). The real problem, though, was when we were selecting our slabs, we were not warned that slabs are identified as left edge or right edge. When we told the installers we wanted the 2 island slabs cut in a way that preserved a gorgeous vein running through the slab, we were charged an extra $150 because the installers had to cut a few inches off each side of the slab, instead of just one side, to preserve the vein (they wanted one edge to run right through the middle of the vein). A very, very ugly surprise. Superior was fairly insistent about charging us, even though it just meant cutting from one end of the slab instead of the other (we used nearly the entire length of the slab). The goodwill they would have created by waiving the fee would have been worth a lot more than $150 to them, but that was their decision. As a result, we're not sure we'd recommend Superior. Who knows what other hidden charges people might face?
