Never written a negative review before. Seemed to be good people to work with. Good selection of granite counter tops at competitive prices. During the design meeting we elected to go with full (top of counters to bottom of cabinets) granite backsplash. During the design consultation they explained that the installation of the granite back splash behind and about the stove/range (30"X28") would have a splice about 2-4 inches below the vent hood to allow for the possibility of replacing the vent hood in the future (makes sense). However, the installers didn't do this and instead we ended up with a splice 10" below the hood. This probably would have worked but the installer chose a piece to splice in that was rotated 90 degrees which created a real visual distraction. So we not only got stuck with a splice right in the line of sight about the stove but a piece of granite that doesn't work visually with the piece it was spliced to. Very disappointing. Splicing of granite countertops is unavoidable but the visual impact can be minimize if done correctly and an effort is make to match the granite. We did contact Superior and after five phone calls our design consultant came by and looked at the installation and indicated he would do something but we never heard back after that. Not very good customer service follow up. I am still debating if its worth filing a complaint with the ROC or the BBB.
