After 2 years of patience on our part, Mandarin Carpet has gone suddenly silent... not returning phone calls or responding to emails. We had a wood floor purchased & installed in our kitchen by Mandarin Carpet ... when it was detected that there was a defect in the finish of each plank's micro-bevel edge -- on all 4 sides of each plank. After many months, they did order an independent (?) inspector from the flooring distributor in Orlando to assess what could be done to remedy this ... then 2 more inspectors. All this resulted in no action being taken (no pricing allowance, no offer to refinish the edges) The owner of Mandarin Carpet assured us that in all her years she had never seen such a flaw as these distracting glistening edges... and that they would be our advocate in securing a remedy. My wife & I had hoped that we wouldn't have to go public with a review like this, but we have exhausted our options. 2 years is long enough. We're hoping that we can remove this posting soon !!
