Bendele Abbey Flooring & Rug

Extremely frustrating, very disappointing, and will not be returning.

It was our first time dealing with them. I hired them to carpet two rooms, the master bedroom and guest bedroom. It started out great. I went in, and the sales guy was wonderful. He came out and measured a couple of days later. I was very specific where I wanted the seams to run because I did not want to see them. He assured me everything would be great. After the carpet was installed, it looks like the installers mis-cut and hodgepodged the carpet into puzzle pieces. I have pieces that you can tell were cut out and placed in and tried to seam together. I have seams running together in the master and in the guest bedroom. They look absolutely ridiculous. I called to complain about it and a gentleman came out. I told him he could go in and take a look at the carpet install to see what we could do about fixing it because I wasn't there. He used a comb or something and combed over the seams and said everything was fine. I vacuumed the carpets and took pictures and sent them to the salesman, who then accused me of trying to spread the seams in the carpet to make it look bad. I said I did not do that. I vacuumed it. It was not acceptable. I got nothing back from them, so I am stuck looking at carpeting that I can tell where all the seams are. I can see cut out sections, and I am stuck with it. I paid a lot of money for carpet that frustrates me. I would not recommend them. I have told and showed everyone about my experience. I am not happy. I have had a lot of houses with carpet installed, and I have never had people jigsaw carpet together and tell me it is a great installation. That is what one guy told me. It was exactly how they were supposed to do it. I have never seen that, and I am not happy at all. Everyone knew my feelings about it, and nobody reached out to me. I have text messages with the salesman accusing me of making the lines look worse than they were. I usually don't complain, but it is not quality workmanship. I am frustrated. I think I got the new kids on the installation.
