I've used American Flooring in the past and never had a bad experience with them, but on this most recent occasion I had a horrible experience with their installer who was subcontracted and screwed things up. We were in a time crunch, but the owner really responded and took care of things within our time window. So it started off as a horrible experience, but it ended up finishing pretty nicely. Everything turned out OK in the end. Their pricing is more than competitive. I would highly recommend them and I have to other people. I will continue to do so because of the way owner responded to this situation. You can be assured that if something does go wrong the owner will take care of it. Bad things happen sometimes and I really judge a business by the way they handle that, whether they fix the problem or just say 'tough luck'.
