My loan was supposed to close last Wednesday (it is Monday evening now) and I still have not had any confirmation, or even a reply to my emails. The whole process has been characterized by a lack of communication and a lack of transparency. The loan came in at a higher rate than originally quoted on the HUD documents, although I do have a promissory note from them saying they will pay the difference. No reason was given for the difference, just that there were some issues even though I filed all of my paperwork on time. I am sitting here still in the dark on whether my loan closed and this is extremely unnerving.
