I've spent nights in luxury hotels where I found myself lingering in the bath to enjoy the elegance and relax. Now my own master bath provides that same luxury and my husband and I are so loving it! If I were a wine drinker I'd take a bottle and glass in the shower so I could lounge on the wonderful bench and enjoy, enjoy!
Corbella Kitchen and Bath was one of three contractors we asked to bid on our bathrooms project. We're planning to stay in this home several more years and as age creeps up we knew we need to eliminate the hazard of the daily jump into the sunken garden tub in the master bath. Of the three contractors, while Corbella was the most expensive, they provided the best hands-on planning, ideas and suggestions for what was possible. Denise and Gabby spent an entire Sunday with us in their showroom planning and when we left all the tile, hardware, cabinetry, etc necessary to complete the project was selected.
The project was in progress over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and the craftsmen worked hard to ensure we had the guest bath in order for our Thanksgiving holiday guests. We experienced a few delays due, not to the Corbella team, but to what I would call inadequate quality control on the part of one of the hardware manufacturers. Brandis revised the work plan to keep the project going and when the hardware finally arrived the project was quickly completed.
Along the way we changed our minds and decided to install a barn door to the master bath. This required removing a pocket door, redoing the wall, and replacing some of the beautiful tiles already installed. I was sure I would spend the next 10 years looking at the patched tile around the door threshold and reminding myself to do a better job thinking things through. I was totally amazed and delighted to find the tile perfectly laid as if done the first time. Ervis is an amazing craftsman and artist!
Quality workmanship provided by skilled craftsmen - Andre, Ervis (an artist!), the plumbing and electrical contractors - excellent planning by Denise, skilled project planning and coordination by Brandis and Pete. Lovely people to work with who really seem to enjoy their jobs! And, they left no debris ever, were careful not to track in dirt, and cleaned up every day before leaving. Thank you, Corbella!
