I called in for my consultation and was scheduled to come in quicker than I would ever have expected to have been seen for this in a city like Miami. Waited less than a week. Went to my consultation and met with their very knowledgeable and courteous staff. Emilia the administrative coordinator was wonderful and hilarious, a great people person. Melissa and Luisa performed the tests on me and explained absolutely everything. It was very clear exactly how much this location values quality over quantity and I was very much hoping to be a candidate. After all of the exams and Melissa and Luisa's never ending patience in answering all my questions and concerns (as well as taking a large number attempts at eye mapping because my eye was just not cooperating) I was finally done and waiting to hear whether I was a candidate. It turns out that I was and they were able to make my surgery appointment for just two days away! I was extremely nervous on surgery day and all of the staff was absolutely amazing at calming down the patients. I was relaxed and most importantly, felt like I could trust the people who were performing a surgery on my eye. The process was painless, not as scary as I thought, and the doctor was talking me through it all. He was telling me how many seconds left and what was going on. Dr Aran is amazing and I'm so happy with my decision. It is now the day after surgery and I feel back to normal and I can see perfectly!!
