We have used Abbey Carpet several times now. We really appreciate how large their selection is. It's almost overwhelming because there is so much to look at in their showroom! The pricing is really decent as well. A few years ago, we bought some tile from them and installed it ourselves. I think we were a little misled on the product we bought as far as the quality. When we bought it, we asked the salesperson for a recommendation and he recommended a porcelain tile. But, when we went to install it, the installation guy we used let us know that he didn't think it was very good quality. But, I did appreciate the customer service they provided throughout the process because they were really friendly and polite. It seemed like they would bend over backwards to give us what we wanted. Recently, we purchased some carpet from them and had them install it as well. That process went a lot more smoothly. The carpet was reasonably priced and good quality. It looks really nice in our bedrooms! The salesperson was really knowledgeable and recommended a good product for us. It was a small job, and I thought the installer was pretty slow. However, he did get the job done and got it done right and he was extremely personable. I just thought the fact that it took him 6 hours was frustrating. We also had to wait around a month to even get the carpet installed. I'm not sure if that is standard in this situation, but I just felt impatient because you can't just purchase something in the showroom and walk out with it. So, you are on a waiting list to get it installed.
waited a month before we could get the carpet installed, so overall, it was a really long process. But, I would still recommend them because I think as long as you are careful in choosing the product, they do offer a wide range at a decent price!
