A great vet, especially for other than cats and dogs
When most people think about a veterinarian, they're talking about one that does dogs and cats. What do you do, then if you have a ferret, a parakeet, or a lizard?
That's what sets HealthPointe appart from the rest. I go there because they do birds and our family has two pet birds. One of them is a little sicker than usual, so he's in to get a beak trim every few months and we want to take the best care of him until he dies.
The staff is very friendly and is willing to answer questions. They do complete physicals and - depending on the animal - lab work. Of course they do dogs and cats too.
Their prices are pretty good too. I think a beak trim is about $15.
One thing to keep in mind: they require that you get your pet a physical exam before they will do anything else, so getting started will cost a little more than future visits will cost.
