I recently interviewed with AIT (Accountants in Transition, a division of Transition Staffing Group), although it has only been a couple of days and I haven't received my first assignment yet (my interview was on Friday, today is President's Day), I can honestly say that my experience thus far has been very positive and far superior to past experiences working for employment agencies. They were friendly and personable, which put me immediately at ease for the interview. We discussed in full detail my work history, getting into very specific responsibilities I had in other positions so they were able to get a better understanding of my capabilities and even offered guidance and helped tailor my resume specifically for the position(s) I am/will be applying for. It was nice to feel like they actually cared about placing me in a position that would suit me well--as opposed to the last staffing agency I worked for who had me take some computer competency tests and then placed me on a long term assignment then basically ceased any more involvement with me even though I stayed on that assignment for over a year. They work fast--sent me home after aforementioned interview to revamp my resume and requested it back the same afternoon so they could forward it on to their client before the 3-day weekend. Their service so far has proven to be first-rate, and I would definitely recommend AIT to anyone seeking employment in the accounting field.
