Great advice, super friendly and knowledgable staff!!!

TSG's offices are located in an office complex in Sorrento Valley. Getting there was no problem, just a bus ride and 1 stop on the coaster. I walked to their mirror windowed building and knew I was at the right place.

I took the elevator to the 3rd floor and right away noticed the unmistakable gleaming Napster head across from their office. As a kid of the 90's I thought it was very cool to share an office with this company.

As I waited for my recruiter (I was quite early, but still didn't have to wait long) I chatted with a young woman who was there to interview for an in-house recruiter position with the company. We talked about accounting and our careers and she strongly advised me to pursue my CPA.

Shortly after I met with Brenda, whom I had talked with several times over the phone. I was impressed that she had always kept in touch with me over a period of months, checking in and sending emails every so often.

She told me about the company and then asked about my experience. She gave me some really good advice on fixes for my resume (most other agencies say the same old things, but Brenda's advice was very tangible, and I completely agreed with what she was saying.)

We also went over some common interview questions and she gave me advice on how to spruce up my answers. This is a problem I have, usually being too general, she advised me to be more specific about the tasks I've accomplished.

Finally she talked about a few different opportunities, but didn't over promise, and let me know that it might still be tough to find something. She walked me out, and that was it!! Overall it was a great experience, even if I don't get a job through TSG, Brenda's advice alone was well worth the trip. Thanks!!
