Overall the phone conversation I had with the Recruiter and my appointment went very well. Everyone was very friendly and prfessional. The Recruiter called me and we set up an appointment so, I could find out more about Accounts in Transition. I was not aware that they automatically sign you up as a client before the interview. I was asked to fill out an application and email it along with my resume to the Recruiter. On the day of my appointment as soon as I walked in the door. The Receiptionist asked me to fill out a W-4 and I-9, which surprised me because I had not had a chance to find out more about the company nor did I agree to be a client yet. I am not upset but, they really should wait until after the interview before having someone fill out a W-4 and I-9. Or when a Recruiter calls an individual to set up an appointment, make sure the person understands they are being signed up as a client and they will be asked to fill out a W-4 and I-9 before the interview.
With Identity theft the way it is by filing out those forms you are giving people personnal information about yourself, to a company you know very little or nothing about. Depending on whether or not you do your own research before the interview. Also, you don't want people to feel they are being rushed or pushed into something before they have a chance to make up their own mind.
