Abbey Carpet & Floor removed the carpeting in 3 rooms of my home. They also sanded and finished the hardwood floors that had been under the carpets for years. I had no idea what it was going to look like, and I when I got home, it looked great!

One of my bedrooms has a bathroom off to the side. After the initial work, I noticed there was an inch to inch and a half gap between the bathroom tile and the new hardwood flooring in the room. I called Ken and while they didn't have an exact solution, he said they would be able jury-rig something to fill the gap. The worker they sent out showed up with different fillers and things that could potentially work. He was able to fill in the gap really well and now there's a smooth transition from the tile to hardwood.

The only wrinkle was putting back the furniture. I was away while they did the work and returned home to find 2 bedrooms with mixed up furniture. Originally, they took photos so they'd know where everything went. But I think the guy who took the photos was sick on the day of the service, so the workers didn't know where things went. While furniture was arranged into the rooms (bed, nightstand, etc) it was just in the wrong room. They had to carry a bunch of stuff back and forth to transfer the furniture, but Ken addressed the issue promptly.

Overall, my service experience with them was good. They did the work as we agreed with no staining on the hardwood and cleaned up behind themselves, the floors were dustless. I can always reach Ken and I appreciate they're a local business in the community. I was referred to Abbey Carpet & Floor by a realtor friend, so I took their word without looking for bids from the competition. I'm glad I called Ken, my floors are beautiful and I appreciate their follow up when the little things needed to be addressed. I will definitely call him again.
