I called Snyder to install a thermostat and they sold me to buy a service package in December. They had a couple recommendations but nothing urgent. 3 weeks later my unit coil froze and gushed water all over my house. When they came back out for a service call they said it would be $65 and the guy that came said that only covers the initial visit and then its $50 every half hour. After an hour of being here he told me I have all sort of things wrong that equalled over $2500 or I should talk to the sales manager to buy a new unit. All of this supposedly went wrong in one month between the visits. So I paid the 105 for his hour and called another AC company to get a second opinion that was a referral. The owner was a close friend to one of my girlfriends. Plus a third to make sure.

Both the second and third company said I did not need to replace my unit or replace all of the suggested items Snyder tried to sell me. They said I did have a small leak so they added freon, but everything else is working fine. I do have some rust on outside components because i am on the intracoastal, yet not to where it needs to be replaced.

I am very disappointed in the dishonesty in this and also the overall service. Do not use them!
