I had zero late payments, no collections or derogatory accounts on my credit report. I was simply looking for a more manageable way to pay down my credit card debt. I SPECIFICALLY asked how this would affect my credit score. I was told its just a note that you're on a payment plan and that is removed when the program is complete. While this is technically accurate what actually happens is you're accounts on the plan are placed at an R7, similar to a consumer proposal, and is only one step up from bankruptcy. This has TANKED my credit score, and even after my credit card debt is payed off the R7 will still show for 3 YEARS. I am on a 4 year plan (though I hope to have it paid down sooner) so I AM STUCK WITH THIS FOR 7 YEARS. This will affect car loans and mortgages and basically everything I had been planning for the future. I should have looked into this further, that is on me but I seriously hope this review will help someone. PLEASE BEWARE. If you are able to pay your debts down on your own (even if it will take longer!) DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PLAN.
