Taken to the cleaners
Sometimes I think that cleaners forget that they are working with more than just clothes. I took a handmade quilt that my best friend had taken over a year to make. I received it back and the border was pink instead of white. The big disappointment was their total lack of responsibility or caring about what had happened. The blamed the quilte (it didn't have a tag) Haven't they heard of pre-testing? If they were that uncertain, then they should refuse to clean instead of taking a beloved object and ruining it. It is a poor business indeed that cares neither about its service or its customers.
