I had my dogs spayed and neutered at American Heritage Animal Hospital. The surgery and the outcome was excellent. We had no problems. The doctor called to check on us the next day and a few days later. They were very clear and willing to make sure that I knew that if I had any questions that I could call them back so they could touch base with me. They were extremely gentle and loving with the dogs. Even though they know everything about dogs, they were willing to listen to comments about my dog's personalities. The vet was very knowledgeable and courteous. She made me feel very comfortable as a client and I haven't had that in some other clinics. My pets were not stressed at all when I picked them up. They were extremely professional yet friendly. It was a very good experience.

They also have a large, beautiful, secure grassy area where they can take the pets outside so that they can go around the yard. I love that. Some other places I have been too have been a big concrete parking lot with a tiny little grass area.

I thought that the price was very fair. I got a complete explanation of the billing before the surgery so there were no surprises or added fees. Wonderful experience for me and my pets. It is important to me that they feel safe with the people that are handling them. Also, I met three of the staff members and professionalism and courteousness was consistent among all the staff members.
