Although asking for help is something not all people find easy to do, once we do find the courage to ask, it is important to find the right people to help. Habilitative Services is a business based out of Mankato that helps people who may not be able to help themselves. From the elderly who can no longer live independently, to injured persons in rehabilitation, Habilitative Services Inc. does it all. A few years ago a car accident left me badly impaired for several weeks, making it difficult to prepare my own food, put myself to bed, etc. Habilitative Services set me up with the tools I needed to take care of myself, they even stayed with me to help me adjust to the new setup. They realize how important it is to have someone there to help in a time of need and they are very sensitive to these needs.
