Pet died while being restrained,
I brought my sweetheart to Oradell as she was in congestive heart failure. She had a valve problem and was on medication for approximately 18 monthsl
I brought her in on a Saturday night,, they took her to the back . I thought they would then bring her to an exam room to discuss her prognosis. Instead someone came to me and said I must leave $8,000 as the estimate was
between $8,000 and $14,000. They let me see her briefly in her cage as she was in oxygen. She remained on oxygen Sunday. Monday I was told she was stable. I went there to pick her up . Someone had given me new medication instructions. I had her on her leash and color and the doctor dissuaded me from taking her home. She said she needed and echo and she should be left overnight, I said I will bring her back in the morning. She said if I do so I will have to go through the whole emergency procedure. I was scared to take her home and wanted to do the right thing. I received a call Tuesday at 10 am telling me my dog collapsed and should come. I said you mean my dog might die?
She then said she just passed, do I want them to try to revive her. I requested her medical records. It was noted she did not handle restraint well. MY DOG WITH A HEART CONDITION WAS SCARED TO DEATH. It was also noted that sedation may be needed for test. This is a nightmare for me. I just can't get the picture out of my mind of my dog dying while being frightened to death. This is my nightmare. These people are money hungry. I believe that doctor wanted to tack on the additional $1000 to her credit toward making her quota for the month. Oh, I then got a bill for an additional $500. I spoke with someone in client care or something. She said I must pay or be turned over for collection.
STAY AWAY THEY ARE H0RRID, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. My heart is broken, my baby is gone, I made a big mistake
