I adopted a stray cat and called Oradell Animal Hospital to get her checked out and spayed. Called and was treated very briskly when I asked for spaying services. I was told - ONLY patients of Oradell Hospital are edible for spay services. So I scheduled an exam. I was charged $900 for blood work, shots, flea treatment and an antibiotic shot. I asked is my cat pregnant? - she is a stray. I was told - we don't know, They don't know? A vet doesn't know? Then who knows? I started the whole thing asking for spaying services. Well...a few weeks go by and after another visit (2 in total) to Oradell Animal Hosiptal and no spaying or direct confirmation of very advanced feline pregnancy - I ended up with FOUR surprise kittens at my home. Regardless of the emotions I feel now towards the kittens and that I have taken responsibility for them. Oradell Animal Hospital was an abysmal failure providing for my original request to spay which would have avoided a surprise delivery and responsibility at my home. Reprehensible,
