Easy to work with professional team!!

Wanted to give feedback on a full tear out and install of 2 1/4" oak wood floors

I had original floors in my 1920's craftsman. Back when I bought the home 8 years ago I had hardwoods but in the back 2 rooms that were an extension to the original home. I didn't realize how beat up the original floors were back then so I had to 2 rooms done to match the originals..........

I called the same team that did my floors 8 years ago to bid on removing the original floors and feather into the back 2 rooms. I was very happy with them and fully expected to give them my business. Once they did the bid it was twice as much as the bid they had given me two years ago, knowing the floors needed to be redone after the posts and piers were done on the home. Ahhhhh, the joys of old homes!! So I decided to have a couple more bids......still fully expecting to give them my business.

Will came out the same day I called. We discussed the options and he said Rob would be in contact with me once he was back from vacation. Rob came out and brought me to the reality that we couldn't feather into the back floors because of the height difference in the back 2 rooms.......they needed to level the floors in the back because of the existing foundation wall interfering with the leveling of the floors. I was bummed thinking I would actually have level floors with no transitions throughout the house!!! Rob gained my trust in knowing his business. I had gotten his name from a friend who had some patch work done. Since this was a full install I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision.........this is a huge investment!!!!

His bid was very reasonable..........the full scope of work was addressed. Changing the way the wood was laid down to make the house seem more open, transitioning into the back rooms, changing the color in the back rooms to match a lighter stain throughout the house.

Floors arrived to acclimate for a couple weeks, job progressed nicely from there. Once the install was done we lived in it for about a month before they finished them. They are absolutely gorgeous.
