Prestige Floors was a delight to work with on a major multi-room hardwood floor refinishing project, plus refinishing kitchen wood countertops. The best part was working directly with Robert, the owner, never more than an hour or two away during the project bid process, and scheduling around multiple other workers before, during and after his part of the work was done.

One of many very helpful aspects of planning was Robert’s advice regarding the pitfalls of doing too much, his recommendations of other firms to take care of cleaning, moving appliances and possessions, storage and experts for unusual repairs and special needs. His advice saved $$ and weeks of planning, with no delays or disruptions that minimized worries about what might go wrong.

The 40-year-old oak floors look terrific, brand new, and the job came in on schedule and budget. Important to mention, not working with multi-departments in a company with delays getting quotes and work scheduled. Robert did all of that on the first visit and then adjusted to our schedule, coordinating with other contractors so we could get several repair and painting jobs done at the same time while the rooms were empty. The actual sanding and refinishing work were seamless with 2 professional guys, 4 days, and no hiccups, both having been with Prestige Floors for a dozen plus years. The same excellent results for the kitchen countertops. And they left the house in good shape and relatively clean of dust.

Robert’s recommendations, included keeping things simple, went a long way in making this project less stressful. On a scale of 1-10 Prestige Floors gets a 10++ in our book. Many thanks.
