I happened to get a massive kidney stone the day this policy was activated and spent 3 days in the hospital, while they waited to transfer me to another facility that could provide treatment. I was on morphine and dilaudid, and totally out of it until they were able to blast the stone and discharge me. The hospital bill was $25K, plus other charges for the specialist and the follow up, and this insurance plan didn't cover one penny of it. The guy who sold this plan lied about everything. It's not even a real insurance plan. They just offer discounts if you find someone who accepts their plan, which is not very often. My prescriptions have not been covered either, and those that qualified for a discount were so insignificant that my pharmacy found a better deal. I just happened to get this policy during the one time in my life that I really needed health insurance, and they failed in every way.
