I wanted to switch from medicare/humana to something cheaper. I currently pay 215 because of a late enrollment fee.

The man seemed very polite and professional. He only asked for Full Name and Birthday. Explained that I had 26 options that I qualified for, but only 3 around or under 200 per month. First Health PPO, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

So he explained that First Health was my best option at 193.25 per month. Everything seemed perfect. 0 dollar deductible. 25 dollar copay for all appts specialized or otherwise. Preventative scans and x-rays included in the copay! All hospital networks covered .....and right about this time I assumed it was a scam and tried to look up the First Health Insurance website and couldn't really find it...Aetna and Blue Cross and Blue Shield stuff came up.

When I simply asked him to go over the other plans because i was already considering Blue Cross, he got very offended and his entire demeanor changed. He seemed rushed and kind of flabbergasted that I would even CONSIDER the other options! He basically talked me into First Health and explained it was almost full. So if I didn't get it today the enrollment would be full. I would lose my spot.

By this time we got to this point I figured out it was definitely a scam and we started talking about payment. I asked if he knew about how I would discontinue Medicare/Humana and said ..Call the SS office maybe.... So then I asked for his name and direct line so that I could call back later, after I called the ss office. He got upset. He wouldn't even tell me his name.

Anyway, he basically asked for payment after this and I told him I couldn't pay until the 3rd. He sighed and just asked...So you can't pay today? I said no and he hung up.

I did call the number back and ask if this was a scam. They were very rude and kind of mean. I still haven't found evidence of First Health insurance being in Alabama.
