So i was contacted by a licensed agent who was amazing, he went over all my options and really explained insurance to me and how everything works. He directed me to the private market explaining to me that instead of being on a plan that's based on my income, I could go on a private plan that was just based around my health. I am very healthy, not to tout myself, but it worked out in my favor. I got this wonderful plan through First Health (Personally never heard of them before but my agent explained it uses the same doctors and hospitals as Aetna) and my doctor was in network. I have had it for about 3-4 months now, I wanted to give it time before I left a review. I'm very pleased I qualified for no deductible which offers me access to my coverage without paying a huge deductible. I'm happy that I am able to continue to see my doctors. The price was very reasonable for the plan, I thought it was fake because everything on the marketplace was way too expensive. The only trouble I had with this plan was navigating the benefits with the plan on my own. I called customer service for help and they guided me through everything. The best part of this plan is that my rate monthly stays the same and doesn't go up! I love that part. The agent explained that there's a lot of plans under one carrier--so all the bad reviews here kind of shocked me and left me second guessing on my choice. When I spoke to customer service they explained to me that the plan I was offered was a higher level and was a better plan option, Plans go based on budget and your health. I'm Happy though, Can't complain.
