I don't really leave reviews but i felt inclined to as this seems necessary. So everyone on here is leaving horrible reviews. I honestly felt the same way when i first reviewed my plan, i was contacted by a broker who said i qualified for this plan through first health ppo network. The agent explained that First Health is just what the doctors are contracted with. so that is what the doctors know and use. First Health apparently has a million different plans that service under the network. So they have discount plans, that are cheap and dont cover much but affordable. They have share plans, short term, ACA plans, etc. The reviews here are a perfect example of people telling an agent they can only afford $100 a month and then they end up with a discount plan. IT ALL HAS TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL PLAN LEVEL YOU CHOOSE. They are buildable options so you can request to add more coverage for what you need. I have a great option through First Health which is the Well Premium plan. it covers all my services, i have a catastrophic hospital benefit that covers 100% of my hospital after i meet my deductible of 5000. I made sure to ask all the right questions because the agent was able to customize my needs and i was fortunate because he was very knowledgeable. Now for the people here leaving this horrible reviews , possibly had a agent who wasn't as informative and dedicated to them in finding the right plan or possibly only qualified for discount plans because they told their agent they could only afford under $200 a month. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ITH INSURANCE! First Health is only a network that gives you access to doctors and facilities. They are nationwide which works great for my daughter who is in college out of state. These people are highly misinformed. First Health is NOT an insurance - they are just a network. I love my plan and the best part is i can keep this plan till im eligible for medicare and the plan stays the same price no matter what. I had Ambetter before this plan and it was absolutely horrible. I really love my plan.
