We're quite happy with our choice to go with a closed-loop (fishing pond) geothermal system to cool and heat our home. While 20% more expensive to begin with, the savings each month really add up - we should cover the difference in just over five years! Cooling efficiency is remarkable - we had a total electric bill of only $79 this past August on a 6,000+ sq ft home! The folks at Allgeier Air were great to work with throughout the installation and we continue to use them for periodic maintenance. Two thumbs up!
