Not Quite a Shot
With the economic downturn, I was having a hard time finding a job. I turned to employment agencies. Hope was not high but it might be worth a shot. AmericSource(Staffcorp) was one of the agencies who provided thorough evaluation and a good clientele. The staff dressed professionally and knew the procedure well. Not only did they ask you to fill out applications, they carefully reviewed your qualification and tried to match it with their clientele requirements. The interview questions were mostly based upon an interviewee's work experiences and career plan for the future. However, the questions about hobbies seemed time-wasting and unnecessary even though the standpoint was understandable. It took them a while find a match. I was informed to schedule a new interview with one potential employer in about one week. No other interviews have been scheduled even though I have a few years of experience in my field. This was not quite a shot.
