I've been a customer for of Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning for about 15 years, starting with the former owner and manager. We have biannual checkups. I had a really bad experience with having to order a new main air conditioning compressor for upstairs in the attic. I had to do several steps that seemed unnecessary. Stan absolutely insisted on the salesperson coming out to order the compressor even though the service person told us what was broken. They insisted that the only way they would fix it is if we talked to the salesperson.

We ended up telling them we didn't need them to repair it and went to another company for the compressor, and got it for about 5 percent less than Stan's price.
