I'd go back to Tramcar Transmission Specialists, depending on who I'd have to interact with. Tramcar is the only place I know for transmission work. Our regular auto mechanic recommended Cary at Tramcar to us years ago and we used him several times. The last time I used Tramcar Transmission Specialists, I dealt with a guy named Junior. I didn't like his style at all and distrusted him. He wasn't the actual mechanic. He appeared to be the face of the business. I would prefer to never interact with him again. I know I'll end up back there someday with one of my old cars. As long as I deal with Cary, I am happy and would give them a five-star rating for repairs and service. I don't know all the ins and outs of transmission repair. I guess that there are a lot of pieces involved. I know the repair takes a few days which is a few days too long for someone like me who relies on their car for daily transportation. But I like Cary and would go back to Tramcar Transmission Specialists only if I could deal directly and solely with him.
