My daughter had her 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer at another transmission shop and was told that the transmission was shot! I spoke with Cary at Tramcar Transmission over the phone and he asked if he could check out the transmission in person. I had my daughter bring the car to him to check out for free. He said that after he checked the computer there was a code that he said could be an electrical problem however to diagnose what was causing the code a would have to authorize a diagnostic fee of $107.
That was the best $107 I ever spent. The problem turned out to be only a sensor and the car was fixed under $300.
