I decided to put a new roof on my home, and I went with August Roofing to do the work. I was impressed with their salesman, and with his presentation. For example, they had all their insurance information and business licenses on hand. They did everything in a very professional manner. Since I work from home, I was very much available to observe their work. Whenever I made a suggestion to the job supervisor, he listened to me. When they were working on the roof, they showed me pictures of what they found, so that I could be kept in the loop. Since I was there, I monitored everything. I was not a passive owner. Their workers were very organized, and they laid out everything in advance. They were also good when it came to cleaning up, and that included when they pressured-cleaned the roof. They put plastic in the yard, and diverted the stream of dirty water away from my yard. There was one issue, when an errant roofing tile targeted my skylight. But, they repaired it for me, with no impact on the work schedule. Frankly, I was surprised, and taken-aback, because they exceeded my expectations on the job! Overall, they did exactly what they said they would do, and they even finished the job ahead of schedule. I have already recommended them to my neighbor across the street!
