I bring my dog Odie to Elkhound Ranch doggie day care and once we pull in the driveway I cannot get him out of the car fast enough. He is so excited and ready to go play with his friends. All the employees know him and are always giving him love and attention. The staff is great to work with and very friendly. I think Odie might get spoiled a little bit!! The one thing that I really like is the package deals you can purchase and there are several to choose from, which for me it makes it very affordable and they are so accommodating. With the package I also have the option of early drop off or late pick up which is a blessing sometimes with my busy schedule. When I first brought Odie to doggie daycare I was very nervous he would be placed with more aggressive dogs or vice versa dogs that he would be bigger than and bully, but this was not the case at all. The staff watches him and all the dogs to make sure they are all playing nicely and getting along. He is always paired with dogs that have his energy level and around his size. When I pick him up he is very warn out from a hard day of playing and sticking his head in the water bucket or spilling it everywhere. So if we have to be gone during the evenings I am not leaving a dog that needs stimulation he just needs sleep. I have also used their boarding services and once again the staff and facilities were outstanding. He still got to play during the day and had a quiet place to sleep at night. I don't usually review places but I am really impressed by the facility and my hope is they are there for a long time, so Odie can continue to enjoy his play days.
