We cannot thank Dr. Joseph Daw for all he has done for our son. Our son had a very deviated septum that caused him to loose sleep and have breathing issues, at the age of seven we had to have it repaired with a pediatric surgeon. At that time the surgeon said that as he grows, his nose will again distort and he would begin having similar issues and should have him re-seen at around the age of eighteen.
Unfortunately he was correct as my son reached his teen years the breathing issues started all over. He was snoring, could not breathe, and lost his sense of smell. He also lost some self esteem as his nose had a severe bend. We went to several doctors for help and they turned us away saying that his nose was severely damaged by scar tissue from the previous surgery and that the septum was too deformed from growing, and that normal procedures were not able to be used in this case.
One doctor suggested Dr. Daw as he was much more experienced in cases like this, and that the only other surgeon he could suggest was out of state. We visited Dr. Daw and he immediately gave us hope. He had to do a rib graft to repair my son's nose and the surgery was a success!!!
It has been over a year now and my son can breath. He no longer snores. He can smell again, and he looks great!!! We cannot thank Dr. Daw enough for what he has done for us. Not only is Dr. Daw a great doctor and surgeon, he is friendly, kind, and compassionate, and made every attempt to do his best, calm our fears, and guide us through this entire process.
I would highly recommend Dr. Daw to anyone that needed consultation or surgery of this type.
