I was beyond unhappy with the service provided to me by weekend maids. I employed their services for a move out clean. One of the main reasons I went with this company was because of their high Yelp ratings. I would have happily done the cleaning myself, except that I was on an enormous time crunch to move out of my apartment and have my walk out inspection the next morning. I made an 11am appointment, gave my credit card number and was told that if I cancelled I would be charged anyway since I was within their 72 hour cancellation period. The next morning I got a call saying that the maids could not be there at 11 and that 3:30 was the earliest that they could get out, but that they would be there promptly at 3:30. I arrived back at my empty apartment at 3:15 so that I could let them in to start the cleaning when they arrived at 3:30. After waiting patiently and no arrival by 4pm I called the main number to find out what was going on. I was told that they would contact the maids and would call me right back. Another 30 mins goes by with no call back. At this point I could have had a good chunk of the cleaning done myself had I had cleaning supplies at my vacant apartment. Instead I am sitting, and getting more aggregated by the minute waiting for someone to arrive and no one calling be back to tell me what is going on. Finally I get a call at 5pm from the cleaners telling me that they are 30 mins away and wondered if I still wanted their services. This is beyond unacceptable. I clearly would have gone with another company had I know that no one was going to show up until 5:30 pm when I made the appointment for 11am!! By this time it is now very dark outside. Once the cleaners arrived and started the work I left to attend to other matters. I got a call 2 hours later saying that they were done and that I needed to come pay them. When I got back to the place I was dumbfounded at how many things were not done. No baseboards had been cleaned, an entire bathroom hadn't been cleaned, the range hood and oven were not cleaned and nothing was vacuumed. I asked why and was told they didn't have a vacuum. What kind of cleaners don't bring a vacuum?? Especially a move out clean!! The blinds were filthy, which they would have clearly seen if they had shown up in the daytime like they were supposed to. The next day I went to meet my landlords a bit early to see (in the daylight) what had been missed. I spent an hour re-cleaning all the things that had been missed, however I didn't have enough time or tools to complete the work before my inspection. After doing my walk through, the landlords informed me that they were docking me $200 for the things that were not cleaned when I moved out. I told them that I paid for a cleaning service. She, in turn told me that I would have been better off not cleaning a thing and I would have been docked the same amount. Frustrated and annoyed I once again called the weekend maids direct line to give them my feedback of the situation. After sharing everything I have here with them they said that they would investigate the situation and get right back to me. Well, it's 2 weeks later and not a word!! This company and their customer service is terrible. So, my word of advice... If you are on a time crunch or want a professional cleaning crew to do a great job, look elsewhere for cleaning services. This is not the company for you!! I would give negative stars if I could!!
