Kapital Electric Company Inc. installed a natural gas generator in my home. It's connected right to the natural gas pipe. There were a couple of missteps with scheduling the appointment due to a funeral that popped up, but nothing that either Kapital Electric Company Inc. or myself had any control over. The generator got installed a day later than planned, but everything went okay. It's been used many times, and I've had no problems with it so far. It's a little bit louder than I anticipated, so I set it to go on automatically on Wednesdays around 11am, when people are at work or school. If a neighbor is home and working in their yard, they can hear it, but no one has said anything negative about it. When the power goes out, my house is the only one with the lights on, and I don't lose TV, computer, or phone service. I've offered to put some power strips in my garage so that neighbors can charge their phones if needed in a power outage.
