I can sew a straight line. So I have made many quilt tops. But I never know if colors and patterns go together until I see the finished project. Therefore, I have done a lot of ripping and sewing. I spent several years creating a pattern and sewing a quilt top for a special grandchild. Since it was my own creation, Donna said I had to select the backing, the color of the quilting thread, and the quilt top design. I was terrified. Donna showed me several options. I told her she would have to make the decisions herself. Instead she very gently and patiently worked with me until I had the self confidence to make these decisions. Picked up the finished quilt today. BEAUTIFUL. Donna thank you for your patience, for sharing your knowledge about colors and design, and giving me the self confidence to make the choices for MY quilt. Can't wait to start on my next project.
