I called Donna at Whatever's Quilted in Wake Forest NC right after my phone stopped working (sorry for that frustration) and even though it was closing time she spend 45 minutes going over what might be wrong (much of which you covered), but in the end, she thought it was the timing. We made an appointment for a technician and Donna to be available last Monday. It was more of a two-hour drive but well-worth it.

The timing did need fixing and it turned out that the top tension assembly was acting up. Donna called HQ and they had her put a new one on and the machine started working perfectly. This process took 4 hours and Donna was patient and helpful throughout. You could tell she was highly invested in solving my problems. I could not have found a better person to help me face-to-face and will recommend her to other quilters who are interested in purchasing HQ machines.
