I called and spoke to Mike at the shop about a issue I was having with a transmission on a 2010 Ford escape he listened to everything I had to say and set me on the right path to fix the problem myself. I have never done anything to a transmission other than check the fluid. Mike educated me on what I had to do and what would fix it right over the telephone. The fix was not a simple task and I would have never known what to do but with his knowledge and help the car is back on the road and running like new again. It all came down to a little small ball bearing that was stuck in a metal plate sandwiched between two parts of the valve body. Although I did it cause a little damage to a valve trying to reassemble, ended up bending the valve stem but I was able to get another one and with his helpful information was able to put it back together correctly the second time and is running beautifully now without Mike's help the car probably would have went to the junkyard because I couldn't get out of first gear pretty much it would just rev up and go nowhere. So I would just like to say if I ever do have a problem with a transmission there is no doubt on where I will be taking it to. I called a local shop where I live and they wanted $125 just to look at the car wouldn't tell me nothing but Mike not only told me what was wrong but actually educated me on how to fix it not many places around that will treat a customer like that anymore. They could have very easily charged me a couple thousand dollars and said I was ready to go but they didn't take advantage of the situation he gave me the knowledge that I needed to repair it myself and I am very appreciative for his help. I would recommend anybody with a transmission problem to look them up it would be well worth your time and the savings on your wallet thanks again for your help was very appreciated.
