My 6 year old son was seen after being referred from the school nurse. Hes having a hard time seeing the board in the front of the classroom saying things are blurry to be able to learn properly. They said he has 20/20 vision and prescribed him reading glasses. I went in again and explained the the technician how my son cannot perform as well in school due to not being able to see the front of the room due to his vision being blurry from far away and he just said to come back in 6 months. Well, I'm getting a second opinion because I feel my son shouldn't have to wait 6 months when his vision is affecting how he sees the classroom board that he learns things from in the front of the classroom. He also has to come up closer to things to see so I have a feeling the doctor did not get a accurate prescription. The staff was also very rude the second time I came in explaining my concerns. Even his school teacher knows my son is having a hard time seeing things far away.
