Just left the office after my first time here for a routine eye exam so that I could get a refill of contact lenses and new glasses. I was not given my rx for glasses or contacts and had to request a copy of both. I was given a copy of my glasses rx but they refuse to provide me with a copy of my contact rx. I’ve been wearing contacts for over 15 years and was told that I needed to have a “trial period” and come back a week later to make sure the contacts were sitting on my eyes okay. I haven’t changed my contact brand or anything, just needed an updated rx so that I could order more. I’ve never had such a difficult time getting access to MY MEDICAL RECORDS and I’ve never experienced such unprofessional behavior from an optomology office. I have a right to my contact rx and I am allowed to purchase contacts from another seller, legally. This office wants to force me to buy contacts from them with ridiculous fees and waiting periods, which is why they will not release my contact rx to me. I will not be returning and I urge everyone to stay away from this place unless you want to be intimidated into buying only from them.
