Two weeks ago our water heater stopped working. It was about 7:00 pm so we didn’t expect to find a plumber that would help us that late. We were also expecting to pay additional fees for after hours service. Luckily a neighbor, having had a similar issue, recommended Modern Plumbing. After a quick online search I was able to find their website and contact information.
I called Modern Plumbing and was surprised by a quick answer. The person I talked to gave me a list of possible causes and best to worst outcomes with estimates for each. Within an hour of the call a service person was at our door.
After a quick overview to insure that the answering service gave him the correct information the plumber went to work on our hot water heater. Luckily for us it was good news. We simply had a burned out heating unit. I was unsure if it was a good thing that he had just the part we need in his truck, so I asked. The repair person explained that that part was for several models and that I need not worry about it burning out too often.
